Vishwas is the Director – Solid waste & Wastewater at Earth One GmbH which is an Indo-German company based out of Hannover and Bangalore.

He is a post graduate in Sanitary Engineering and Waste Management from Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany has over 7 years of experience in solid waste management. Vishwas worked on several international projects in India, Germany and other countries. He specializes in Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT), Waste characterization studies, integrated solid waste management systems, sludge and wastewater treatment. Vishwas is associated with various professional organizations such as German wastewater association (DWA), German engineers association (VDI), fellow of ISWA-SWIS landfill winter school at Texas, USA and an active member of International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), member of its working group on landfill and the ISWA Young Professionals Group (YPG).

The characterisation and analysis of solid waste is fundamental
for the design of its proper collection, transfer and treatment.
